Nicola Bonriposi Studio is a research-logic-based design firm based in Milano, centered around the belief that design is a gesture toward simplicity, small details, livability, and practicality. Often pushing and challenging industrial processes we explore the language of objects, materials, and spaces.To that end, the studio creates objects and interiors that engage in a dialogue with functionality, art, culture, and material history.
Graduating from Politecnico of Milano I began my career at MrSmith Studio, Milano based consultancy before joining GarthGlobal Studio in Berlin and a year later ClaudioBellini Studio back in Milano. After those experience I moved to Belgium to join Extremis as Lead designer for almost 5 years. Since 2024, I move back to Italy where I established my studio where I’m currently working on projects on many different scales.
Because of this experiences the practice gained experience on developping collections of furniture for residential and contract as well for in/outdoor, lighting, objects, custom piece as well as offering services for fair stands and private residential interiors.
